• All assignments are light-duty, non-medical, and scheduled based on availability and suitability.

How It Works

1. Apply to Join
   Complete the brief intake form to indicate your interest and select your preferred role.

2. Application & Review
   If your intake is approved, you will be invited to complete the full Crew Application & Agreement, which includes identity and background verification. All submissions are reviewed to ensure reliability, professionalism, and alignment with our service standards. 

3. Accept Assignments
   When matched, you’ll receive assignment details including role, location, time, and pay. You choose whether to accept or decline each opportunity. Once accepted, you are expected to fully commit to the assignment.

4. Complete & Get Paid
   Complete the assignment as agreed and receive payment as outlined.

Who can join?

Anyone 18 years or older who:

• Is authorized to work in the United States

• Is reliable and professional

• Has reliable transportation

• Can communicate clearly

• Is comfortable with short-term, flexible assignments

• Can complete basic verification

Do I need experience?

No, not always. 

• Many assignments do not require prior experience.

• Some roles may prefer or require relevant experience. 

• For babysitting and childcare assignments, crew must have an active profile on a recognized childcare platform (such as Care.com or a similar service). 

• Any role-specific requirements will always be clearly stated before you accept an assignment.

What types of work are available?

Assignments may include:

• Event support and general crew roles

• Event childcare support

• Wedding stand-in roles (bridesmaid / groomsman support)

• Family or personal support (non-medical only)

• Corporate or professional event assistance

• Errands or task support

All assignments are reviewed in advance and clearly defined.

How often will I get work?

Work availability depends on:

• Your location

• Your availability

• Local demand

• Assignment requirements

You choose which opportunities to accept. There is no minimum commitment. Work is not guaranteed and varies based on demand and availability. 

How much does it pay?

Rates may vary depending on assignment complexity, location, and client needs. 

Typical starting ranges include:

• General event & support roles:
  $20–$30 per hour
  
  

• Event childcare roles:
  $20–$30 per hour
  (Childcare assignments require additional verification)
  
  

• Wedding stand-in roles:
  $65–$80 per hour
  (Premium role due to responsibility and expectations)

Final pay is always disclosed before you accept an assignment.

How do I get paid?

• Crew are paid after completing an assignment using approved payment methods.

• Payment timing and details are provided before your first assignment.

Do I need a background check to work with True Moment Crew LLC?

Yes, background check verification is required for assignment eligibility.

• Crew members are responsible for obtaining their own background check through a third-party provider

• You may use any reputable service that provides a public profile link or verification code

• Basic background checks typically start around $15–$30

• If you do not already have one, you may still submit your application first

• Verification must be submitted within 7 days of completing your application to remain eligible for assignments

If you already have a valid background check with a shareable verification link, you may submit that—no need to complete a new one.

Submission requirement:

• Only public profile links are accepted

• Do not submit full background check reports or screenshots

• BeenVerified

Background checks must be completed within the last 12 months and match your legal name.

Are clients vetted?

Yes.

• All clients undergo a review and verification process prior to service confirmation. Crew are not assigned to unverified requests. . 

Is this safe?

Your safety is a priority.

• Assignments are reviewed before approval

• Client verification is required

• You are never required to remain in an unsafe situation

• Support is available if issues arise

If a situation feels unsafe, you may leave immediately and notify us.

Will I be asked to do anything outside the agreed role?

No.

• You are only expected to perform the tasks outlined in the assignment details.

• Requests outside the approved scope should be declined and reported.

Do I need to provide transportation or cover expenses?

• Crew are responsible for their own transportation.

• You are never required to cover out-of-pocket expenses unless pre-approved. 

Can I work in multiple cities?

• Yes, if you are available and willing to travel locally.

• Assignments are typically matched based on proximity. 

Is this employment?

No. Crew accept individual assignments and are responsible for their own availability, taxes, and work decisions. This is not full-time or guaranteed employment.  

Expectations & Standards

• Reliability matters. Show up on time and communicate promptly.

• Professional conduct is required at all assignments.

• Repeated no-shows, safety concerns, or policy violations may result in removal from future assignments.
